Heavy sofa side table, adjustable in height. Made from an antique jack and a slab of teak wood.

Unieke robuuste bijzettafel verstelbaar in hoogte. Handgemaakt van o.a. een vintage krik en een dikke plak teakhout.

The use of this antique but still functional jack, makes this side table the perfect height next no every sofa or chair. Due to it’s weight it stands very stable, but has a relatively small footprint for it’s size. The square wrench which is used to adjust the table top height, can be removed if desired. The height of the table as seen in the pictures is 35 cm, and can be adjusted 8 cm up and down. The 3 cm thick teak wood table top is 24 x 34 cm. The foot of the antique jack is covered in felt to prevent damaging the floor it stands on. The whole table weights 8.6 kilo.
Aangezien de oude maar stijlvolle krik nog werkt, is dit bijzettafeltje perfect bij iedere stoel of bank op hoogte in te stellen. Omdat het totaal behoorlijk zwaar is, staat het ondanks de kleine voetafdruk erg stevig. De sleutel om de hoogte te verstellen is verwijderbaar, zoals op de foto’s is het totaal 35cm hoog. Dit kan 8cm naar beneden en boven worden versteld.
Steampunk, industrieel en organisch qua stijl. Wat past in meer dan alleen die interieurstijlen, denk aan modern en art deco.
